I believe in a holistic approach to language learning that incorporates a variety of methods and student learning styles. I create lessons based in real life with authentic materials like music and art.
Songwriting is another outlet for my creativity. I compose on both piano and guitar, songs that speak to an ever-evolving awareness of who I am and that of the world around me.
My blog topics fall into many categories but there is an over-arching theme of growth and change. Currently I’m focused on writing about the process of uprooting myself to move overseas to teach.
I also enjoy researching and writing essays about topics that interest me. In particular, where history, theology, and philosophy meet.
